1 INTRODUCTION

1.1 We are offering you UCount Rewards points when you apply for and take up an AccessLoan with Standard Bank. The exact number of points you can get will be advised by sms or email.
1.2 This Offer starts on the date of the sms or email referred to above and will remain valid for a period of one month thereafter. (“Promotion Period“).

2 WHO QUALIFIES FOR THIS OFFER

To qualify for this Offer, you must:
2.1 be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older;
2.2 permanently reside in the Republic of South Africa;
2.3 be a new or existing member of our UCount Rewards programme (“UCount”); and
2.4 not have breached any of the terms and conditions applicable to any account you hold with us (including, but not limited to, being in arrears) or not considered to be, for any other reason, in Good Standing (as defined in the UCount terms and conditions).

3 HOW TO ACCEPT THE OFFER

3.1 Apply for and take up an AccessLoan
3.2 You will receive the Offer credited to your UCount account by no later than two months after taking up the AccessLoan
3.3 You must have applied for and taken up your AccessLoan during the Promotion Period in order to qualify for this Offer.
3.4 If you are not yet a member of UCount, you will need to join UCount before the end of the Promotion Period in order to receive the Offer.
3.5 AccessLoans and UCount are subject to separate terms and conditions which you must comply with in addition to these terms and conditions.

4 GENERAL TERMS

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 We are giving away 50 (fifty) free video cameras (“Free Video Cameras”), when you purchase one of 50 (fifty) television (“TV”) sets, by simply paying for your TV using your Standard Bank card, on the UCount Rewards Online Mall (“ Offer “).
1.2 This Offer starts at 00h00 on 07 December 2016 and ends while stocks last of the 50 (fifty) Free Video Cameras (“ Promotion Period“).

2. WHO QUALIFIES FOR THIS OFFER

To qualify for this Offer, you must:
2.1 Be an existing valid Standard Bank card (“Card”) holder of credit or cheque account, excluding Bluebean, Diners Club charge and/or credit cards ; and
2.2 Go to the UCount Rewards Online Mall, to purchase the TV, using your Card; and

3. HOW TO ACCEPT THE OFFER

3.1 You must go to UCount Rewards Online Mall –

4. GENERAL

4.2 You are not eligible to participate in this Competition if:

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 Convert your UCount Rewards points into Avios during the Competition Period and receive one entry into the Competition
3.2 There are no additional forms to fill in and once you meet the requirements set out in clause 2 above and this clause 3, you will automatically be entered into the Competition.
3.3 Subject to the provision of clause 3.1, there are no minimum and maximum values indicated in respect the UCount Rewards points that you convert.
3.4 You may enter the Competition as many times as you want during the Competition Period.

4. PRIZES

5.2 You are not eligible to participate in this Competition if:

5.2.2 you are an immediate family member of any of the persons specified in clause 5.2.1.
5.3 These terms and conditions are governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and will apply to this Competition and all other information relating to this Competition (including any promotional or advertising material that is published).
5.4 By entering this Competition all entrants agree to be bound by:
5.4.1 these terms and conditions;
5.4.2 the UCount Rewards terms and conditions; and
5.4.3 BAEC and ATRP programme terms and conditions.

5.6 We will need to process your personal information to validate your entry and if you are a Prize winner, to make the Prize available to you. 5.7 No entry will be considered to be valid until a validation process has taken place.
5.8 The Prize Winner will be chosen by means of a lucky draw, conducted by Standard Bank’s internal audit department on 6 December 2017 at the Standard Bank Centre, 30 Baker Street, Rosebank at 12H00 (“lucky draw“). The first valid entry drawn will win the Prize.
5.9 The Prize winner will be notified telephonically by a representative of ours and via the email address we have on record within 7 (seven) days of the lucky draw.
5.10 The Prize will be made available to the Prize winner by no later than 31 December 2017 by crediting the Prize winner’s BAEC or ATRP account with the Prize.
5.11 Where relevant, if a person does not accept the Prize, if an entry is not valid for whatever reason, if an entrant has breached these terms and conditions, if a person renounces the Prize or we deem such person to have renounced the Prize, we reserve the right to declare the Prize forfeited and/or choose a new Prize winner.
5.12 In the event of a dispute, our decision will be final and binding on all aspects of the Competition and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.13 We will be entitled to publish each Prize winner’s name and photograph in any advertising, promotional, print, point of sale or public relations material (the nature and manner of such releases to be determined within our sole discretion), for a period of twelve months from the date of announcing such Prize winner. Each Prize winner will be given the opportunity to decline the publication of their images and to participate in our marketing material insofar as it relates to the Competition.
5.14 The Prize may not be exchanged for any other item. We do however reserve the right to substitute the Prize with any other prize of a similar commercial value.
5.15 We assume no risk and/or liability whatsoever for the failure of any technical element in the Competition which may result in an entrant’s entry not being successfully submitted and/or a Prize winner not successfully receiving or taking up a Prize. Once a Prize winner accepts a Prize, such Prize winner accepts such Prize at his/her own risk.

4 PRIZES

5.8 The Prize winners will be notified by a representative of ours by telephone between 12 December 2017 and 14 December 2017.
5.9 The Prize will be couriered to the Prize winners no later than 22 December 2017.
5.10 Where relevant, if a person does not accept the Prize within a period of 14 days, if an entry is not valid for whatever reason, if an entrant has breached these terms and conditions, if a person renounces the Prize or we deem such person to have renounced the Prize, we reserve the right to declare the Prize forfeited and/or choose a new Prize winner.
