What is changing:

We want you to be aware of the following changes, taking effect from 16 June 2026, to enable you to make the right decisions and continue to earn great rewards.

• Introduction of Virtual Credit Card Earn Rates
  Virtual Credit Card will have its own earn rates in the Choose Your Own Rewards category and at certain Rewards Retailers. Not sure what a Virtual Credit Card is or how to create it?

• Choose Your Own Rewards spend cap
  The Choose Your Own Rewards spend cap will be adjusted from R3 000 to R2 500 per fixed cycle.

• Grocery Retailers
  SPAR and Food Lover’s Market will no longer be part of the Choose Your Own Rewards Grocery category, however you can still earn up to 1%* back on purchases at these retailers via Card Rewards.

• Specific Rewards Retailer earn changes
  Updates to earn rates, including the introduction of Virtual Credit Card and Evolve Card earn rates.

How to make the most of these changes:

• Use your Virtual Credit Card when shopping online at Checkers Sixty60 or Shoprite Sixty60, which will earn you up to 40%* back in Rewards Points, and in-store at Checkers, Checkers LiquorShop, Shoprite, Shoprite LiquorShop and Petshop Science, where you can earn up to 30%* back in Rewards Points.
• Using your Virtual Credit Card unlocks higher earn rates and gives you extra security and control.
• Continue to earn up to R10* back in Rewards Points per litre of fuel, when using your virtual or physical Credit Card to fill up at Astron Energy.
• Unlock even more rewards when using your Credit Card for your everyday spend.

We're continuing to expand the programme with new Rewards Retailers to earn and redeem your Rewards Points:

• UCOOK and Faithful to Nature launching on 16 July 2026.
• Tiger Wheel & Tyre earning up to 15%* back in Rewards Points from 16 May 2026. More details to follow.

Important Notice: Activate your new UCount Rewards Card and reset your rewards card PIN through our website. Sign into your UCount Rewards profile, select the dashboard and “Manage my card”. You can also do this on the Standard Bank App by accessing the UCount Rewards platform.
