Builders consists of four brands namely Builders Warehouse, Builders Express, Builders Trade Depot and Builders Superstore. Collectively these brands offer the largest range of quality products and services for small to large building and maintenance contractors, home improvement and DIY enthusiasts as well as garden or any other DIY-related projects.

Builders has 115 stores in Southern Africa and continues to extend its footprint to other parts of the continent, including Botswana, Mozambique and Zambia.

Shop in-store at Builders with your qualifying Standard Bank personal Credit, Cheque or Debit card and earn:

• up to 1%* back in Rewards Points on all qualifying purchases (excluding Value-Added Services) depending on your Tiering Level and Card used.
• Additionally, you will also earn up to 1%* back in Rewards Points based on your Tiering Level.

You can redeem your Rewards Points in-store with your activated* UCount Rewards Card.

• Swipe your UCount Rewards Card and enter your PIN.

If you don't have enough Rewards Points to pay for your purchase in full, you can use your Standard Bank Debit, Credit or Cheque card to pay the difference.

*You must activate your UCount Rewards Card before you can redeem your Rewards Points at any of our Rewards Retailers. If you haven't yet activated your UCount Rewards Card, you can do this online, or by calling the UCount Rewards Contact Centre on 0860 UCOUNT (82 68 68).

To view your Rewards Points balance, sign into your UCount Rewards profile, go on the Standard Bank App, or SMS the word ‘BALANCE’ to 45224. SMS costs R1.

• Rewards Points will not be earned on Value-Added Services (VAS), such as gift cards, cashbacks, airtime, payment vouchers (OTT, Hollywoodbets, etc.), insurance, prepaid utilities, content cards (Showmax, Uber, Netflix etc.), international money transfers (Mukuru, Mama Money, Hello Paisa, Sikhona), domestic money transfers, airtime, data, bill payments, payment devices (iKhokha & Yoco), extended warranty and credit solutions (loans).
• The Rand value of Rewards Points that can be earned will be limited to 5 000 Rewards Points (R500) per Fixed Cycle, which runs from the 16th of the month to the 15th of the following month.
• Your Rewards Points cannot be refunded back into your UCount Rewards Card if you return goods that were purchased with your Rewards Points – you will be refunded with a Builders credit note (not redeemable for cash) or according to Builders return policy.
• Redemptions are limited to 200 000 Rewards Points (R20 000) per transaction and/or per month.
• Rewards Points can only be redeemed at South African Builders stores.
