What is UCount Rewards?
UCount Rewards is a Standard Bank's rewards programme that gives you the opportunity to earn points on your spend whenever you see your qualifying credit, cheque or debit card. Earn more Rewards Points when you shop at our Rewards Retailers.
Redeem your Rewards Points at any of our over 20 Rewards retailers. Just swipe your UCount Rewards card instore or provide your card number when shopping online - it's that simple.
You can earn:
- Up to 20%* in back in Rewards Points on your choice of Grocery, Lifestyle or Fashion Rewards.
- Up to 5%* back in Rewards Points from our Rewards Retailers.
- Up to R5* back in Rewards Points per litre of fuel and oil purchased, based on your Tier Level, when you fill up at Caltex.
- Up to 1.25%* back on all other card purchases.
How you can redeem your Rewards Points:

UCount Rewards Card
How to get your UCount card:
- To order your UCount card by calling the UCount Rewards Contact Centre on 0860 82 68 68 or by logging on to the UCount Rewards website.
- The Rewards Card can be couriered to you at a fee or you can collect it from a Standard Bank branch.
- You will need to activate the UCount Rewards Card either online on the UCount Rewards website, or via the UCount Rewards Contact Centre on 0860 82 68 68.
How to use it:
- Swipe your UCount Rewards card at our Rewards Retailers to redeem (pay for goods and services) with your Rewards Points.
- To pay for fuel or oil at any participating Caltex and Astron Energy service stations.
- Use it for access at Bidvest Premier Airport lounges across South Africa.
UMembership fees
- R25 paid monthly – payable by debit order from your Standard Bank personal account only (this can’t be paid from a third-party account).
- You can change your debit order from annually to monthly.
- You can also change your monthly debit order date or account number by signing in to your UCount Rewards account or calling the UCount Rewards Contact Centre on 0860 826 868 .
Who can join?
- The programme is available to all Standard Bank customers who have a transactional debit, cheque and/or credit card account which is paid up to date.
- Minors will be eligible to register for the programme, however this can only be fulfilled at your nearest branch and parent or guardian consent will be required.
