You can redeem your Rewards Points in store at Checkers LiquorShop and Shoprite LiquorShop with your activated* UCount Rewards Card.
- Swipe your UCount Rewards Card and enter your PIN.
- If you don't have enough Rewards Points to pay for your purchase in full, you can use your qualifying Standard Bank card to pay the difference in store.
*If you haven't activated your UCount Rewards Card, you can do this online, or by calling the UCount Rewards Contact Centre on 0860 UCOUNT (82 68 68) or on the Standard Bank Banking App. To view your Rewards Points balance, sign into your UCount Rewards profile, go on the Standard Bank Banking App, or SMS 'BALANCE' to 45224. SMS costs R1.
- Your Rewards Points cannot be refunded back into your UCount Rewards card if you return goods that were purchased with your Rewards Points - you will be refunded with a Shoprite or, Checkers refund voucher in alignment with the store’s return policy.
- UCount Rewards Points can only be earned and redeemed in South African Checkers LiquorShop and Shoprite LiquorShop stores.
- Redemptions are limited to 200 000 Rewards Points (R20 000) per transaction and/or per month.
- If you purchase in-store at Checkers LiquorShop and/or Shoprite LiquorShop using your qualifying Standard Bank Card, those purchases will count towards the combined Checkers LiquorShop and Shoprite LiquorShop spend cap.
- If you purchase in-store at Checkers, Checkers Foods, Checkers Hyper, Shoprite, Shoprite Hyper, or online via Checkers Sixty60 and Shoprite Sixty60 using your qualifying Standard Bank Card, those purchases will count towards the “Choose Your Own Rewards” spend cap - provided you have selected Grocery Rewards as your chosen “Choose Your Own Rewards” category.
