You can redeem your Rewards Points in store at Checkers, Checkers Foods, Checkers Hyper, Shoprite and Shoprite Hyper and online through Checkers Sixty60 and Shoprite Sixty60 with your activated* UCount Rewards Card.
Redeeming your UCount Rewards Points in store:
- Swipe your UCount Rewards Card and enter your PIN.
- If you don't have enough Rewards Points to pay for your purchase in full, you can use your qualifying Standard Bank card to pay the difference in store.
- Load your UCount Rewards card as a payment method on the Sixty60 App.
- Select your UCount Rewards card for payment during check-out.
- Complete the CVV number and proceed with the transaction.
- You cannot part pay with your qualifying Standard Bank Card and UCount Rewards Points online. You must have sufficient UCount Rewards Points to cover the total value of the purchase.
- Important Note: You cannot redeem your UCount Rewards Points on MoneyMarket transactions.
*If you haven't activated your UCount Rewards Card, you can do this online, or by calling the UCount Rewards Contact Centre on 0860 UCOUNT (82 68 68) or on the Standard Bank Banking App. To view your Rewards Points balance, sign into your UCount Rewards profile, go on the Standard Bank Banking App, or SMS 'BALANCE' to 45224. - Qualifying spend in-store excludes baby formulas, feeding bottles, teats, feeding cups with spouts, feeding straws, medication, plastic bags and third-party payments.
- You will not earn UCount Rewards Points for any purchases made MoneyMarket transactions neither can you redeem your UCount Rewards Points at the MoneyMarket counter.
- Your Rewards Points cannot be refunded back into your UCount Rewards card if you return goods that were purchased with your Rewards Points - you will be refunded with a Shoprite or, Checkers refund voucher in alignment with the store’s return policy.
- UCount Rewards Points can only be earned and redeemed in South African Checkers, Checkers Foods, Checkers Hyper, Shoprite and Shoprite Hyper stores, or by ordering online through Checkers Sixty60 and Shoprite Sixty60.
- You will not earn UCount Rewards Points at Checkers Liquorshop, Shoprite Liqourshop, Checkers Outdoor, Checkers Little Me, UNIQ by Checkers, PetShop Science & MediRite Plus.
- You cannot redeem your UCount Rewards Points at Checkers Liquorshop, Shoprite Liqourshop, Checkers Outdoor, Checkers Little Me, UNIQ by Checkers, PetShop Science & MediRite Plus.
- Redemptions are limited to 200 000 Rewards Points (R20 000) per transaction and/or per month.
