Choose Your Own Rewards

Choose whether you want to earn additional Rewards Points on qualifying Grocery, Fashion or Lifestyle purchases. You can choose a different option every 4th fixed cycles.

• Grocery Rewards enables you to earn Rewards Points at any of our major Grocery Retailers.
• Fashion Rewards enables you to earn Rewards Points at our participating Fashion Retailers.
• Lifestyle Rewards enables you to earn Rewards Points at participating bookstores, gyms, movies, restaurants or fast food outlets.

Grocery Purchases

• You will continue to earn Rewards Points up to 1%* back in Points on the remaining two categories (I.e. Fashion Rewards and Lifestyle Rewards).
• Grocery means all perishable and non-perishable foodstuffs, substances that can be used to prepare food and all household cleaning products, beauty and health products that can be purchased from a Participating Grocery Retailer.
• Grocery purchases exclude non-foodstuffs such as clothing, medication, tobacco, airtime, bill payments, lotto, travel and entertainment, gift cards or payments made for delivery charges, payments made to any Grocery Retailer accounts and financial services e.g. extended warranties.
• General merchandise are non-food items and include paper goods; seasonal items, such as cards, decor, and/or auto electrical items, toys and DIY.
• Rewards Points will not be earned on liquor purchases in participating Grocery Retailer’s liquor stores.
• Groceries purchased at participating Grocery Retailer stores that are situated on the same premises as a fuel forecourt are also excluded from earning Rewards Points.
• Earning Rewards Points at participating Grocery Retailers is limited to the lower of 20% of your total qualifying monthly card spend (that is the total value of all purchases made on your Credit, Cheque and/or Debit Card combined) or R3 000. This excludes non-Caltex fuel, toll and casino purchases.
• The Rewards Points you earn for your Qualifying Grocery Purchases will depend on your Tier Level per fixed cycle.

Fashion Purchases

• You will continue to earn Rewards Points up to 1%* back in Points on the remaining two categories (I.e. Grocery Rewards and Lifestyle Rewards).
• Fashion means any purchase for clothing, apparel, attire, footwear, jewellery, handbags and accessories.
• Fashion Purchases exclude airtime, data, cellphones, electronics, cellphone accessories, courier services, retailer account and store card payments, baby items such as toiletries, food, dummies, nappies, feeding equipment, humidifiers, retailer’s financial and non-financial services products & services, general merchandise such as chips, sweets, water, gift cards, health & beauty products such as make-up, perfume, skin care products, home products including towels, sheets, duvets, blankets, cushions, pots, pans, kitchen equipment and appliances, outdoor products such as camping chairs, tents and equipment, all sports equipment such as balls, bats, weights, all children’s toys and travel products such as luggage and travel accessories.
• Earning Rewards Points at participating Fashion Retailers is limited to the lower of 20% of your total qualifying monthly card spend (that is the total value of all purchases made on your Credit, Cheque and/or Debit Cards combined) or R3 000. This excludes non-Caltex fuel, toll and casino purchases.
• The Rewards Points you earn for your Qualifying Fashion Purchases will depend on your Tier Level per fixed cycle.

Lifestyle Purchases

• You will continue to earn Rewards Points up to 1%* back in Points on the remaining two categories (I.e. Grocery Rewards and Fashion Rewards).
• Lifestyle means any purchase in-store or online for books, e- books / audio books, gift cards and non-book products including puzzles, gifts and stationery, gym memberships, personal training sessions, gym classes, sporting and gym accessories, movie tickets, 3D Glasses, beverages, confectionary, food, service gratuity at the participating Lifestyle Retailer.
• Earning Rewards Points at participating Lifestyle Retailers is limited to the lower of 20% of your total qualifying monthly card spend (that is the total value of all purchases made on your Credit, Cheque and/or Debit Cards combined) or R3 000. This excludes non-Caltex fuel, toll and casino purchases.
• Gym membership debit orders will also earn up to 20%* back in Rewards Points when using your qualifying Standard Bank account.
• The Rewards Points you earn for your Qualifying Lifestyle Purchases will depend on your Tier Level per fixed cycle.
