Fund a student

Feenix™ is a crowdfunding platform sponsored by Standard Bank that helps South African students raise funds towards their education.

To get involved, all you need to do is:

• Create a profile on the feenix.org website
• Find the student your business wishes to fund
• Nominate an amount your business would like to pay using the slider
• To view your donation, click "my Donation basket" or find another student, click "fund another student"
• You will then be able to select your UCount Rewards as a payment option
• Enter the Business Rewards Card for payment
• Complete your donation by clicking "Check out"
• Select "UCount" as the payment option
• Your funds will go directly to your chosen student to help fund their studies

Your business also has the option of donating UCount Rewards points to a "pool fund" by selecting the Pool Funding option on your profile. The funds will be allocated in accordance with the BBBEE Socio Economic Development criteria.

You can redeem your business's UCount Rewards Points online at feenix.org with your activated* Business Rewards Card.

• Enter your Business Rewards Card details and your 3D SecureCode on the order checkout page.
• To get your Business Rewards Card 3D SecureCode, simply:

*If you haven't yet activated your Business Rewards Card, you can do this online, or by calling the UCount Rewards contact centre on 0860 UCOUNT (82 68 68).

*IMPORTANT NOTE: The option to part-pay using UCount Rewards Points and a credit card is not currently available. If you want to redeem your business's UCount Rewards Points at feenix.org, you will need to have enough UCount Rewards Points available to cover the total donation amount.

To view your UCount Rewards Points balance, sign into your UCount Rewards for Business profile, go on the Standard Bank Mobile banking app, or SMS "BALANCE" to 32700. SMS costs R1.
